Winner of the London International String Quartet Competition,
the Vanbrugh Quartet is one of Europe's most successful ensembles,
performing an unusually wide and varied range of repertoire. The
Quartet enjoys a thriving international career with appearances
in Berlin, Amsterdam, Hungary, Poland, Spain, Scandinavia, Italy,
Estonia, Russia, Carnegie Hall and The Kennedy Center.

ADAM NEIMAN, PIANO

Adam Neiman is a favorite of Santa Fe audiences. His career is
taking him around the globe as he plays with orchestras and presents
solo recitals. On this recital in Santa Fe he will perform one
of his own compositions as well as Beethoven’s “Waldstein” Sonata
and works by Arensky and Brahms.

PIETER WISPELWEY, CELLO

In 1992, Pieter Wispelwey was the first cellist ever to receive
the Netherlands Music Prize, which is conferred on the most promising
young musicians in Holland. Since then he has toured the world
with gut strings and metal strings, feeling equally at home on
period and modern instruments, and performing both standard and
unusual repertoire, all with great charisma and superb skill. Program
will include works by Schubert and Chopin.
