To celebrate the 200th anniversary of Richard Wagner’s birth, SFCA opens its 77th season with two of the worlds most exciting Wagner singers in an all-Wagner program of selections from The Flying Dutchman, Tannhäuser, Lohengrin, and Die Walküre. Both Ms. Melton and Mr. Jovanovich will be able to draw from recent experience in Wagnerian roles: Heidi Melton, from (among many) her role as the Third Norn in the Robert Lepage production of Götterdämmerung at The Metropolitan Opera, and Brandon Jovanovich from his role as Siegmund in Die Walküre with the San Francisco Opera.

A Gala Opening Party to benefit SFCA will immediately follow the Season Opening Concert at a private Santa Fe home with extraordinary gardens, including drinks, buffet dinner, and valet parking. The concert and party are ticketed separately. Tickets to the Gala Opening Party are $250 per person (ticket price includes a tax-deductible donation of $175). Tickets are limited.
